This quilt is improvisationally pieced with four fabrics selected to create a value progression. When quilting, I began with the lightest teal in the top left quadrant and changed to darker threads as I moved out creating a focal point for the quilt. The spirals remind me of airflow patterns over a pixelated landscape.
